Electrotechnical department

The Electrotechnical Department is the leading department in the Institute for the Technological Design of Electric Power Facilities.

The department performs pre-project studies and feasibility studies of the use of electrical equipment for various purposes, assists in drafting technical specifications for design, carries out the development of design and working documents in the following areas:

Power supply

  • substations with voltage 220/150/35/10/6, 6 / 0,4 kV;
  • distribution points 10 (6) kV;
  • in-site and off-site cable lines 0.4-150 kV;
  • internal and external power supply of industrial and public facilities;
  • automation of production mechanisms

Protective systems

  • designing of networks of internal and external illumination of buildings and constructions of industrial and social purpose;
  • lightning protection of buildings and structures;
  • system of grounding of buildings, structures, industrial communications and electrical installations;
  • electrical heating of pipelines and apparatus;

Security systems

  • design of communication and signaling systems;
  • design of fire alarm systems.

The specialists of the department participate in surveys of operating enterprises and installations, take part in the supervision of the author during construction and installation works.
